ANIME STL WAS FUCKING AWESOMMMMEEEEE.

Yeah, I went to Anime St. Louis over the weekend, pretty much the highlight of my year. And out of all of the conventions I've been to, this really just blew me away. Everyone was so full of energy and the staff was super awesome, I'm very pleased with how this weekend was.
This has made me want to try out a bit more anime and manga styled works, even though I suck eggs at it.

BUT YEAH, I WAS FUCKING GREAT.

Now, I do need some input from my watchers and friends...

Well, and the title of this journal entry entails, I'm currently sprawled out on the bed at the Lodge of the Four Seasons in the Lake of the Ozarks, here to compete tomorrow for the DECA State championships. I've worked my ass off creating this project and stressed out to the point of overloading, so damn it, I WILL walk away a winner!!! Failure is not an option, nor is it a possibility!

Anywhoo, I've been lurking about on DEVart and found that some amazing artists have been posting up some gorgeous art. Which makes me terribly self conscious, and terribly miss my Photoshop CS2 and my WACOM. (All of which are missing their software and only on my 'ol Windows.) Being an aspiring graphic designer, my WACOM was as close to me as a child is to their bag of delicious rainbow candies. (I would make sweet, sweet techno sex to it if I wasn't already engaged to Photoshop CS4.)

Last but certainly not least, I'll be trying to make a transition into doing a bit more writing. About a week ago, me and and a few others went to the library to see some authors, including the author of the Vladimir Todd chronicles. Upon listening to the stories of the authors and having a chai at a coffeehouse with Heather, (the author of Vladimir Todd) I've decided that I want to further my writing skills. Now, the chances of me actually posting any of my writing on this account are very, very slim. But just a heads up.
